Air Warrnambool is South Western Victoria's lagest flying school (that does not train contract or

overseas pilots.)

With five training bases across South West Victoria located at:

Warrnambool (Main Base), Cobden, Colac, Hamilton & Portland.

Air Warrnambool is dedicated to provide you with a friendly, safe and professional

environment to learn to fly.

Warrnambool (Main Base)

Flight Training is conducted at our main base located at the Warrnambool Regional Airport.

The facilities consist of a main reception area with waiting room. Two classrooms and GA & RAA

training aircraft

Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) General Aviation Licences & Endorsements:

Student Licence (GFPT)

Private Pilot Licence (PPLA)

Commercial Pilot Licence (CPLA)

Night Rating (NVFR)

Manual Pitch Adjustable Propeller (CSU - Constant Speed Unit) Endorsement

Cobden

Flight training is conducted at the Cobden Aero Club located at the Cobden Airstrip.

The facilities house a classroom within the aero club building

There is currently no aircraft available at Cobden for training purposes, students can train in their

own aircraft or have an aircraft flown from Warrnambool (conditions apply)

All trainees must become members of the Cobden Aero Club to be able to utilise the clubs facilities.

Colac

Flight training is conducted at the Colac Aero Club located at the Colac Airstrip.

The facilities house a classroom within the aero club building

Flight Training is conducted in the Colac Aero Club's Jabiru J170D. All trainees must become members

of the Colac Aero Club to be able to utilise the clubs aircraft and facilities.

Flight training is conducted at the Hamilton Aero Club located at the Hamilton Airport.

The facilities house a classroom within the aero club building

There is currently no aircraft available at Hamilton for training purposes, students can train in their

own aircraft or have an aircraft flown from Warrnambool (conditions apply)

All trainees must become members of the Hamilton Aero Club to be able to utilise the clubs facilities.
